For 10 years, certified personal trainer and Adventure Fitness Boot Camp for Women instructor Burnis Jones has been providing personal fitness training that builds confidence as well as muscles. Burnis background of fitness training goes beyond his 10 years of certified training experience. He played college football at University of Hawaii and ended up signing as free agent with the B.C. Lions of the C.F.L in 88' and had a tryout with the Seattle Seahawks in 91'. Aside from his extensive involvement in football and basketball in high school he also qualified for the state championships in track.
Burnis broad experience in a variety of athletic endeavors coupled with his 10 year experience as a certified personal trainer has helped him to position himself to train former U.W. First round draft pick Joe Kelly preparing him for his rookie year in the N.F.L ., coach high school football at Garfield High School in the mid Eighties while he helped many young men get to college. Burnis also coached little league football and basketball for Renton parks dept from 2000-2002. Burnis is married to Jeni and has five children ages ranging from 22 to 11, Burnis III, Breymond, Blake, Mikayla and Byron.

Dr. John Spencer Ellis

John is the President of NESTA (National Exercise & Sports Trainers Association) and the Spencer Institute for Life Coaching. These two professional associations have 45,000 members in 30 countries. John is on the Advisory Boards of the National Health, Wellness and Prevention Congress, Exercise TV, Conference for Healthy Living, Irvine Valley College, Get America Fit Foundation, and is a Fellow of the National Board of Fitness Examiners. John has been continuing his professional education since 1987, and holds bachelors degrees in business and health science, an MBA, and a doctorate in education. He is currently completing a second doctorate in naturopathy. He has fifteen certifications including massage therapy, plyometrics, self-defense, fitness kick boxing, fitness boxing, water fitness, exercise rehabilitation, golf conditioning, Pilates, personal training, clinical hypnotherapy, sports hypnosis, PACE circuit training and yoga. He holds a 2nd degree black belt in kung-fu, has completed the Ironman triathlon, and finished 5th at the U.S. National Biathlon Championships. His medical training includes a license in radiological technology, a medical assisting certification, and training in McKenzie rehabilitation. John was nominated for the California Community College Distinguished Alumni Award. |

Christina Lucy teaches the 9:00 a.m. boot camp in Orange County, CA. For over 14 years, Christina has taught aerobics and group fitness classes for many prestigious fitness clubs and spas throughout the country. She has undergone training in challenge course administration and safety. She is a facilitator for the rope's course at Spencer Escape in Big Bear. She is certified by NESTA as a personal trainer and holds a PACE circuit training instructor certification. Christina is also a running coach and has developed the EZ8 Women's Running Camp. She has been featured in 3 fitness videos, and soon to be in the upcoming fitness video "The OC Body".
