What is Lynnwood Adventure Boot Camp for Women?

A four-week indoor/outdoor program of fitness instruction, nutritional counseling, and motivational training. You will be inspired and have fun while participating in a fantastic workout led by Certified Adventure Fitness Trainers, Burnis and Lee Jones. Each day, camp will be one hour in length.

 

Are there co-ed classes as well?

Yes, the M/W/Th 6:20pm class is now co-ed and open to both men and women, all other class times are exclusively for women. Women may attend any class time that works with their schedule, and the 6:20 class won't be any more difficult than normal.


What if I'm not very physically fit?
NOBODY will be left behind or asked to complete more than they are capable of doing safely. Nor will anybody go home unchallenged! Women of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate. Each day will slightly increase in intensity. You will inspire and be inspired by others.

 

How often will we meet?
Class participation will be determined by the number of days chosen on your registration. Options are 5, 4, and 3 days a week depending on class times offered. Classes will start and end promptly at the assigned times.

 

What happens if I miss a class?
Class participants are allowed to make up a class by attending another class time during the week.

 

What do I need to bring?
A thick exercise mat, resistance bands, resistance tubes, two sets of small hand weights 3-lb. & 5-lb or 5-lb. & 8-lb. (depending on your current fitness level), plenty of water, towel, and a sense of adventure. You can purchase the exercise mat, resistance bands and tubes, and hand weights at stores like Target, Fred Meyer, Sports Authority, etc.

 

We also HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting fitted for running shoes that PROPERLY fit your feet. We will provide with a list of stores that can assist with this once we have received your Boot Camp registration.

 

What can I expect to achieve from camp?
Your body will become more fit and toned, and you will gain more confidence making a dramatic improvement in your physical well-being. The camp program includes exercises designed to firm your butt and thighs, flatten your stomach, reduce body fat, and increase stamina. By losing fat and gaining muscle, you'll lose inches and gain strength, while looking and feeling better. Also, you'll meet great people who share in the same vision of striving to reach their goals for a healthier mind and body.

 

Why should I participate?
You will make a dramatic improvement in your physical and mental well-being. In addition, you will meet great people who share your same passion for acquiring a more healthy body and mind. You will be finished with your training before the rest of the world has even gotten started!

 

What is the cost (investment in myself)?
Each four-week Boot Camp has a registration fee that ranges between $180 - $299, depending on the number of days you register for. That's potentially 20-hours of instruction, which averages out to just $14.95 per hour. Where else can you get premiere or cutting edge fitness instruction for that incredible price? Personal Trainers can typically charge $60 to $150 per hour for their services - this is a great opportunity to receive motivating fitness instruction by a certified personal trainer for just a fraction of the cost.

Registration ranges between $135 - $255 depending on how many days per week you sign up for and whether the camp is 3 or 4-weeks.
