Hi Burnis,
First of I want to thank you for the extra time you have spent
making sure I stay on track.
The class has always been very motivating. If it was not for
your classes I would still be a couch potato.
Now almost at the end of my 2nd Boot Camp, I have lost 14 lbs
and I am more physically fit then I have ever been in my life. I
have gained energy and confidence in myself. At my brothers
wedding I attended this weekend I had several family members
take notice and mention that I was looking very healthy. I look
in the mirror now at a different person and I love it! Thank you
Burnis!
Thank You,
Laurie
Hey Burnis,
I said I'd send my "what I like about me" but it's
easier to say what I like about bootcamp and what
your program has done for me so here goes:
1. Bootcamp is the first "exercise program" that
I've been able to really enjoy. I don't always want
to get up at 5AM but once I'm there I'm darn happy I
made the effort. It helps to know that I can take a
class later in the day so I can stay on track.
2. It WORKS! I'm on my 3rd session and know that
I've lost at least 10 pounds but more important I
feel great, my clothes are getting looser and looser
all the time and I know I'm heading in the right
direction - finally!
3. Swimsuit shopping used to be my most dreaded
chores but since I've been doing bootcamp I was
actually looking forward to it and was happy with
what I was seeing in the mirror. I bought a tankini
suit which isn't yet a bikini but it's a heck of a
lot better than some old-lady, one-piece "miracle"
suit that feels like I'm strapping on a tourniquet.
4. Everyone in camp is so nice and it's great to
share in the effort. I used to keep pretty quiet
about any diet or new exercise regime I embarked on
but now I'll tell anyone willing to listen about the
benefits of Burnis' bootcamp. I am a believer!
Thanks again so much for making the journey to
fitness so much fun and so effective. I have a long
way to go but I'm on the right track and I am very
grateful...

Wow what has changed; everything for the good!!!!
I see a huge change in my legs, butt, arms and abs;
what excites me the most is that I’m obtaining abs.
Wow I can’t believe it; I’ve never have had stomach
muscles and I can finally say that I do! I love the
workout program that you provide Burnis..it has
changed my attitude and my endurance level in every
aspect of my life. I’ve never ever been this fit in
my lifetime and at 49 that says something.

Hey Burnis!
What is changing...The biggest thing that is
changing with me although not physical is my energy
level! I have so much more energy and am not nearly
as lethargic which drives me to be more active and
eat better. Although I am not a morning person,
coming to Boot Camp every morning is a great jump
start to my day!
Physically, my stomach is the biggest change I am
seeing. It is firmer! My waist seems to be a little
smaller - not so much visibly, but I can tell when I
put on pants. And my arms are really showing signs
of improvement! I have never really done anything to
focus on my arms, so the things we have been doing
in class have been really helping train those
muscles to work.
I really want to thank you for the service you
provide. I am really thankful for this class as it
has really helped me remember what I love about
working my butt off and feeling the "burn" (also
known as pain) the next day. I am regaining the
confidence I had when I moved here and before I
began settling for the every day excuse that there
just wasn't enough time for working out between work
and taking care of my family.
Can't wait to see the results!
Thanks,
Brianna Cless
Hi Burnis….
As for what is changing in me….
I have noticed that I am more confident and I no
longer get out of breath when walking up a flight of
stairs. My endurance is definitely increasing and
this is what I was striving for. I am also noticing
toning in my legs… now if that toning would do its
magic on my behind I will be even more confident. ;)
The best part is, and I know I have told this to you
before, my husband is noticing the difference. I
will be signing up for the July class and I am super
excited to hear that there is only a week break. Two
weeks seem to be too much for me.
Thanks for all you do! By the way, I tell my friends
that I am attending BOOTY Camp because it works and
kicks my booty! LOL

Hi Burnis
Well, I wasn’t thinking too much had changed after
being in Bootcamp just 3 weeks. But then I went to
my Sunday morning cycling class, that I had missed
for past two weeks. To my delight, I found I was
stronger and had more stamina in this tough class.
My legs were able to do more and it felt really
good. Thanks Burnis.

Hi Burnis,
I looked at myself in the mirror today and noticed
my clothes fitting me better. It seems to me that I
have lost inches around my stomach and back. My
shirts are laying flatter and not as tight. I feel
like I should have dropped a pant size but I am ok
with feeling better about how I look in my current
clothes. I also see my biceps getting toned. I don't
have much muscle but I like the definition I am
seeing come through. I am also able to run for
longer periods of time from going to boot camp. I
just ran a 5K this last Saturday in Manson and all I
cared about was beating my time from the last 5K I
did. I was still close to last but I beat my old
time by about 6 minutes which is a great
accomplishment for me. I love what boot camp has
done for me in the last two camps that I have done
and I plan on continuing in July!
Thanks for everything Burnis! Boot camp has truly
motivated me to a level I never thought I would be
at. I find myself wanting to work out in my free
time. Before I started boot camp I found it hard to
find the motivation to work out. I always had to
force myself to do it, now I want to work out all
the time which is exactly the level I was hoping
boot camp would get me!
Thanks!!

Here's my homework!
Looking at my overall progress, my physical changes
are the most noticeable. I’m happiest with the
definition I'm seeing in my arms and legs—yes, maybe
my butt too. I appreciate I’m losing body fat, and
my abs are getting stronger. Then, there’s my face—I
like how it now reflects a leaner version of my
former self. I have gone down 3 to 4 clothes sizes,
which in itself presents an immediate need; clean
out my closet and say good-bye to clothes that
literally fall off of me. This job will require a
lot of yard waste sized Hefty bags. Oh well, it's
all worthwhile.
There is a significant difference and improvement in
my stamina. Heck, I registered for a 5k race this
month. Although I didn’t break any land speed
records, I accomplished my goal of running the
entire course without stopping or walking. Now I’m
considering doing another one.
Some changes can’t be measured on a scale, or
wrapped around a tape measure. They’ve come from
inside. My mindset is evolving. Rather than
thinking, “Oh no, not more running” or “Not another
squat or ab workout”, I try to attack these
challenges. The really tough workouts when I'm
sweating like a dog are now my most favorite. That’s
progress!
I really see what I’m doing in and outside of Boot
Camp as a journey now, and not a means to an end.

Hi Burnis,
I want to thank you for your training and
encouraging attitude. I have never enjoyed a workout
as much as I do yours. I enjoy coming and pushing
myself to get the most out of it that I can. I would
never push myself on my own as I push myself in your
classes. I enjoy the group training and the
individual attention you are able to give me to
maximize my efforts. Your instruction helps me get
the most out of each exercise.
As a result of working out, I feel better in my
clothes, have dropped a size, and feel better about
myself. I get so many complements about looking
terrific! Does that ever feel good!!!!!
Thank you Burnis!

This last boot camp, I have noticed a change in
my thighs, knees, and calves, that I haven't
noticed before. hey are tighter and higher. They are
heading in the right direction!
I've also noticed a "lifting" of my backside. So
have other people. They've actually mentioned
my gluts in public, which I 'd have to say is
strange, but I really kind of like it! LOL
On the medical side, my LDL is dropping to the point
that my doctor is actually considering lowering of
my cholesterol meds!
Thanks Burnis! (you were right, give it time)

Hi,
Regardless of the weight loss (or not) and the inch
loss (or not), my energy level is better and I am
sleeping much more soundly! THANK YOU!
This next camp I WILL master form!

Hi Burnis! I feel my lady lumps coming back into
shape. The cushion around my midsection is shrinking
or tightening and my clothes fit better so I'm
feeling better about myself.
Thanks,
Kelli
